Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Typrio (“Typrio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including the Typrio mobile application, our web dashboard, and the runtime that executes AI Apps you configure (together, the “Services”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About Typrio
Typrio is an AI assistant platform. It has two sides that work together:
- The mobile app, an offline-first AI assistant designed to run on-device by default, with optional cloud features you may enable.
- The Services platform, a web dashboard and runtime where you create AI Apps (user-defined tools and workflows) that can call external APIs and perform actions on your behalf.
These Terms cover both. Where a clause applies only to one side, that is stated explicitly.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Account | The user account you create to access the Services. |
| Workspace | A multi-user container for AI Apps, Credentials, and billing. |
| AI App | A user-configured tool built on Typrio that exposes Actions. |
| Action | An executable endpoint within an AI App, usually a workflow of nodes such as HTTP requests, transforms, or memory operations. |
| Credential | An API key, token, or secret you provide so Typrio can call a third-party service on your behalf. |
| User Content | Any text, files, images, configurations, workflows, memory entries, or other data you provide to the Services. |
| Hybrid Features | Mobile-app features that send data off-device to a cloud provider with your consent. |
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services or for consenting to the processing of personal data, that higher age applies instead. Where local law permits use at a lower age with parental consent, a parent or legal guardian must consent on your behalf and accept these Terms. The Services are not directed at young children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
4. The Mobile App
The Typrio mobile app is designed as an offline-first assistant. Core features run on-device using locally stored AI models. When you choose to use Hybrid Features, data needed to fulfil your request is sent to the provider you select, after explicit in-app consent.
The mobile app may process:
- text prompts
- documents or files you provide
- images or other inputs
Important: When Hybrid Features are active, the app clearly indicates that network-based processing is taking place. On-device functionality remains available where technically possible.
If you install the mobile app from the Apple App Store, Apple's own Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. In the event of a conflict between Apple's EULA and these Terms with respect to the App Store version of the mobile app, Apple's EULA controls only to the extent required.
5. The Services Platform
The Services platform lets you create AI Apps, connect Credentials, configure Actions (including HTTP, webhook, schedule, and memory nodes), and run those Actions against your data and selected third-party services.
AI Apps and Actions execute on Typrio infrastructure. You control what they do, which credentials they use, and which external services they call.
6. Accounts
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your Account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One person or legal entity may maintain one Account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Workspaces and Members
Workspaces allow multiple users to collaborate. Every Workspace has an owner, who is responsible for the Workspace's billing, members, AI Apps, and Credentials.
- The owner may invite members and assign roles. Members may access the Workspace's AI Apps, Credentials, and data according to those roles.
- If you invite members, you confirm that you are authorized to share access to any data and Credentials held in the Workspace.
- If you join a Workspace operated by another person or organisation, that owner controls the Workspace and may remove your access at any time.
8. AI Apps, Actions, and Runtime
AI Apps are configured by you. Typrio executes the workflows you define. This means:
- You are solely responsible for the content, behaviour, and side effects of your Actions.
- You are responsible for the data sent and received through your Actions and for complying with the terms of any third-party service they call.
- You are responsible for the Credentials you store and for revoking or rotating them when needed.
- We may log execution metadata (status codes, timing, request shapes) to operate the runtime, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may impose rate limits, execution budgets, and concurrency limits to protect the platform and other users.
We may suspend, disable, or remove AI Apps or Actions that, in our reasonable judgement, violate these Terms, abuse third-party services, pose a security risk, or degrade the platform.
9. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Services let you connect to third-party providers, including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Stripe, Discord, and BlockBee. When you use these integrations:
- The third party's own terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.
- You are responsible for complying with those terms, including any usage restrictions and content policies.
- We do not control, and are not responsible for, the availability, output, or behaviour of third-party services.
- We may change the list of supported providers at any time.
10. User Content
You retain full ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of anything you input into, or configure within, the Services.
You grant Typrio a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate the Services on your behalf, and to make the technical adaptations (such as format conversion, encoding, or resizing) strictly required to deliver the Services. This license ends when you delete the relevant User Content or close your Account, except where retention is required by law.
No training on your content by Typrio.Typrio does not use your User Content, your prompts, or your AI App configurations to train, fine-tune, or improve our own AI models, and we do not share them with any third party for the purpose of training that third party's models.
Third-party AI providers. When you connect and run an Action against a third-party AI provider (for example, OpenAI, Anthropic, or a Mistral endpoint you have configured), your prompts and the data you send are processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Those providers have their own positions on whether and how they use customer data for training or improvement, and these positions can change over time. We cannot and do not warrant the data-handling practices of third parties. You are responsible for reviewing each provider's terms before you connect to it and for enabling any opt-outs (such as "do not train on my data" settings) they offer.
Any on-device AI models bundled with the Typrio mobile app run locally by design and do not transmit your prompts or inputs to us or to any third party for training. Hybrid Features are covered by this third-party paragraph while they are active.
You confirm that you have the rights needed for any User Content you submit and that it does not infringe or violate the rights of others.
11. Credentials
Credentials you provide are encrypted at rest, are never logged in plaintext, and are used exclusively to execute your AI Apps and Actions. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for the validity, scope, and security of Credentials you provide, and for revoking or rotating them if you suspect compromise.
12. AI Limitations
Typrio uses artificial intelligence models that may:
- produce incorrect, incomplete, biased, or misleading outputs
- misinterpret context
- fail to reflect real-world facts
The Services do not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it, especially for high-stakes decisions.
13. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights
- generate, store, or distribute child sexual abuse material, harassment, or content inciting violence
- send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or phishing
- build tooling designed to bypass safety, abuse, or rate-limit systems of Typrio or of connected providers
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, model weights, or trade secrets, except where this right cannot lawfully be restricted
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our prior written consent
- misuse Credentials, or use Credentials you are not authorized to use
- use automated means to scrape, crawl, or overload the Services
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, limit, or terminate access without prior notice where necessary to protect the Services, other users, or third parties.
14. AI Credits and Quotas
Some plans include AI credits or other usage quotas. Unless stated otherwise:
- Credits and quotas are a product feature, not currency, and have no cash value.
- Unused credits or quota allowances reset at the end of each billing period and do not roll over.
- We may adjust credit costs, quotas, and pricing with reasonable notice.
- Running out of credits or quota may cause AI features to be temporarily unavailable until the next period or until you upgrade.
15. Paid Features and Billing
The Services offer paid features. Billing is handled through two channels:
- Apple App Store: in-app purchases and subscriptions made through the iOS app are processed by Apple under its own terms. Typrio does not receive or store full payment card details.
- Stripe (web dashboard): subscriptions and one-off purchases made through the web dashboard are processed by Stripe. Typrio does not store full payment card details.
Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period (for example, monthly or annual) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time through the channel where you purchased: the App Store subscription settings on iOS, or the billing area of the web dashboard for Stripe purchases. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your access continues until then.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices. For active paid subscriptions, we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email or in-product message before a price change takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect and the change will not apply to you.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge, downgrade your account to a free tier, or suspend paid features after reasonable notice.
16. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal
Apple App Store purchases
Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can request a refund directly from Apple through your App Store account.
Stripe purchases: EU, EEA, and UK consumers
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, and you purchase a paid subscription or a one-off digital service from us through our web dashboard, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day the contract is concluded, without giving any reason.
How to exercise the right. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by a clear statement sent to [email protected]. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw in time, we will reimburse all payments received from you for the withdrawn service without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, and you will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.
Digital services and loss of the right of withdrawal. If you expressly request us to begin providing a paid digital service during the 14-day withdrawal period (for example, by using the Service immediately after purchase) and you acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal once performance has been completed, then:
- the right of withdrawal is lost once the Service has been fully supplied;
- if performance has begun but is not yet complete when you withdraw, you must pay a proportionate amount for the Service already supplied up to the moment you notified us.

17. Technical Data and Diagnostics
To maintain and improve the Services, we collect limited technical and diagnostic information, such as crash reports, error logs, performance metrics, and device and OS version information. This information is used for debugging, reliability, and security. It is not used for advertising and is not sold to third parties. See the Privacy Policy for details.
18. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your Account through the dashboard or by contacting us at [email protected].

- to comply with law or a binding order
- if your paid subscription lapses or payment fails after reasonable notice
- if we retire the Services or a material feature, with reasonable notice where practical
19. What Happens to Your Data on Termination
On termination, we will make your User Content available for export for a reasonable period where practical, and will then delete or anonymize it in line with the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy. Credentials are deleted when you remove them or when your Account is closed. Certain records (billing, legal, security logs) may be retained for the periods required by law.
20. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Services, including their design, code, brand, documentation, and any bundled or licensed AI models, belong to Typrio or its licensors. Third-party components are subject to their respective licenses.
Subject to these Terms, Typrio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.
21. Feedback
If you choose to send us feedback or suggestions, you grant Typrio a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback to improve the Services, without obligation to you.
22. Beta and Experimental Features
We may label certain features as beta, preview, experimental, or early access. Those features are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and are not covered by any service-level commitment.
23. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Typrio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of AI outputs or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer under applicable mandatory law.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Typrio, its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising from or related to the Services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Typrio for the Services in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) one hundred euros (EUR 100).
Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
25. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Typrio and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- your User Content, AI Apps, Actions, or Credentials
- your use of third-party services through the Services
- your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party right
This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
26. Complaints, IP Claims, and Dispute Resolution
Complaints, IP, and abuse notices
If you believe content hosted by Typrio infringes your intellectual property rights, or that an AI App is being used for abuse, send a notice to [email protected] including the URL or identifier of the content, a description of the alleged infringement or abuse, and your contact information. For any other complaint about the Services, write to the same address. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and to provide a substantive response within 30 days, save where the matter requires further investigation, in which case we will keep you informed.
EU Online Dispute Resolution platform
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to try to resolve disputes arising from online contracts with us out of court. The platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our contact email for ODR purposes is [email protected]. Typrio is not currently obliged to use, and does not commit to using, any alternative dispute resolution body to resolve disputes with consumers.
Data protection authority
For matters that relate specifically to the processing of your personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), available at www.cnpd.pt.
27. Export Controls and Sanctions
You confirm that you are not located in, and will not use the Services from, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions that would prohibit provision of the Services, and that you are not on any restricted-party list applicable to us.
28. Changes to the Services
We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. For material changes that affect paid features, we will give reasonable prior notice where practical.
29. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or within the Services at least 14 days before the changes take effect, and will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
30. Governing Law and Forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts of Lisbon, Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms.
Consumers. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of habitual residence. You may bring proceedings against us either in the courts of Portugal or in the courts of the Member State where you are habitually resident, and we may bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the Member State where you are habitually resident.

- Force majeure: neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
- Notices: we may give notice by email, in-app message, or dashboard banner.
